FREERZ.ORG is for those who love, or make a living out of, news. It allows for professionals to read and intelligently discuss news and to benefit from getting to know lots of viewpoints and aspects.

Such as the events of religious and spiritual groups and information relating to resources like oil, gas, ores, precious metals, water and food. » Why Conflicts?

FREERZ.ORG interprets current World events as an ongoing Cold War for the following reasons:

-- All major powers are involved in one way or another.

-- There is no fighting takes place between the major powers, but there are regional wars and conflicts with identifiable opposing sides that major powers overtly or covertly support.

-- Wars and conflicts span multiple countries on multiple continents, with battles fought in multiple theaters.

-- Major powers are attempting to expand their influence zones, oftentimes at the expense of other major powers.

-- International espionage activity is risen to previous Cold War levels.

-- New technologies are enabling major powers to globally collect remarkable amount of intelligence from everyday electronic communications.

-- Cyber-borne warfare is used by all players and its significance is increasing as a separate war theatre.

-- Global military spending and international transactions concerning military hardware are increasing.

-- Major powers are globally forward positioning or repositioning large military forces and considerable amount of related assets.

-- New religious and quasi-religious conflicts are coming into being, sometimes replacing or supplementing long-standing feuds.

-- Organized migration and immigration causing socio-political and economical threats for major powers.

-- Technological and economical progress widen conflicts over the control of resources.

-- Regions are expanding worldwide without effective state and/or government control.

-- Attemts are being made by state actors to exploit social and racial tensions of other states.

-- Reporting in certain widely available media outlets are increasingly influenced and distorted by power players.

-- Reporting from conflict-ridden areas is increasingly prevented or prohibited by the regional actors.

FREERZ.ORG readily acknowledges that calling the current state of the Globe a Cold War might not stand up to an academic scrutiny but nevertheless we think it makes no difference how we call it.
