Head of Argentinean army resigns amongst accusations of human rights violations, [VERiFiED], Argentine, 2015-06-23, XCellThe head of Argentinean army, Major General Cesar Milani resigned from his position for personal reasons. It is noted that he has been accused of taking part of a forced disappearance of a soldier and the torture of two of the soldier's family members back in 1976, during the country's military dictatorship that lasted from 1976 to 1983. He is succeeded by Ricardo Luis Cundom, who has been appointed on 2015-06-24 by president Cristina Kirchner.
